In partnership with the Savannah Food and Wine Festival, Savannah Technical College Foundation brings you a culinary travel adventure with elegant tasting opportunities, take-home recipes and great wine selections at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2018 in the Eckburg Auditorium (5717 White Bluff Road).

 

Work alongside Savannah Culinary Institute chef instructors for an international culinary adventure:

• Turkey: Make Turkish meatballs with Chef Gearry Caudell. Served with tzatziki and traditional Turkish salad.

• China: Make two types of dumplings with Chef Zebulon Berry. Served with stir fry.

• Jamaica: Make pickled peppers to take home with Chef Alex Lewis. Served with Red Snapper Escovitch over vegetables.

• Wines of Australia: Guided pairings/tasting of five wines with Chef Jean Vendeville served with sausage rolls with chef-made filling; beef sliders with beetroot and pavlova.

 

Guests will be greeted with a French 75 cocktail: gin, Cointreau, champagne with lime juice.

 

Advance tickets are $100 and available at www.savannahtech.edu/BistroSavoirInteractif. Proceeds will support the Patrick Ansley Williams Scholarship for culinary and hospitality students at Savannah Technical College. Seating is limited to 120.  The event is 21+ and all IDs will be checked. No one under 21, please.

The Savannah Food & Wine Festival is presented by the Tourism Leadership Council, a 501-(c) 6 organization, and The AdFish Group, with proceeds benefiting the TLC Scholarship Fund, with educational opportunities for hospitality program students in colleges and universities in the Coastal Empire and many local charitable organizations.

  • No dogs or pets are allowed at any event venues
  • All advance discount tickets are released in limited quantities and can sell out at any time without notice
