David Carrier is a New York city native who grow up in his parents’ Queens restaurant. After graduating from the French Culinary Institute he moved to California to work with Thomas Keller at the French Laundry.  From there it was off to his first stint in Chicago under Grant Achatz. at Trio.

 

A move to the south with his wife helped  kick-start the Panhandle scene at Avenue Sea, their restaurant in Apalachicola, Florida. In 2009 David helped launch a Southern comfort-food movement at Kith & Kin in Chicago.

 

After a five year tenure at The Cloister and The Beach Club in Sea Island David has moved on and is now working on Certified Burgers and Beverage, his own casual dining concept on St. Simons Island.

The Savannah Food & Wine Festival is presented by the Tourism Leadership Council, a 501-(c) 6 organization, and The AdFish Group, with proceeds benefiting the TLC Scholarship Fund, with educational opportunities for hospitality program students in colleges and universities in the Coastal Empire and many local charitable organizations.

  • No dogs or pets are allowed at any event venues
  • All advance discount tickets are released in limited quantities and can sell out at any time without notice
  • All tickets sales are final & non-refundable
  • All events are rain or shine & event programs are subject to change without notice
  • The festival may at its sole discretion change venue locations for an event. Ticket holders should confirm event locations prior to attendance of any event.
