Jayce McConnell got his start behind the bar in Oxford, Mississippi where he began working on the first serious cocktail program in the state. He was recognized as a 2013 Eater Young Gun finalist and in 2014 moved to Charleston to open Edmund’s Oast as Head Bartender. In 2016 he was selected as one of Zagat’s 30 Under 30 for Charleston food and beverage. A Savannah native, he’s excited to be making (and drinking) cocktails in the Lowcountry.
The Savannah Food & Wine Festival is presented by the Tourism Leadership Council, a 501-(c) 6 organization, and The AdFish Group, with proceeds benefiting the TLC Scholarship Fund, with educational opportunities for hospitality program students in colleges and universities in the Coastal Empire and many local charitable organizations.
