Robert Freeman has a passion for creating beverages from fresh and local ingredients, beautifully handcrafted ice, and showcasing craft spirits. Robert takes the term hospitality to new levels by giving service from the heart and creating an environment welcoming all guests with the hopes of creating a memory. He is known for taking his profession on the road from time to time, visiting other like-minded professionals in the service industry. This once landed him a guest bar tending shift in Puerto Rico at La Factoria, one of the world's top 50 bars.
Robert previously was the bar manager at Calhoun Street Tavern located in Bluffton, SC. He is the former Secretary of the Jacksonville Chapter of the United States Bartenders Guild. His other past work experiences are head bartender of Sidecar located in Jacksonville, FL. As well as a bartender of The Ice Plant located in St. Augustine, FL. He encourages everyone to say hello, introduce yourself, and stay connected. Cheers!
The Savannah Food & Wine Festival is presented by the Tourism Leadership Council, a 501-(c) 6 organization, and The AdFish Group, with proceeds benefiting the TLC Scholarship Fund, with educational opportunities for hospitality program students in colleges and universities in the Coastal Empire and many local charitable organizations.
