Tiffanie Barriere is a drinking coach, mixologist, and “freelance” bartender. In 2015, Tales of the Cocktail profiled five black female bartenders influencing the Atlanta drinking scene, and Texas native, Tiffanie Barriere, was one of the chosen mixologists. Barriere spent seven years as the beverage director at One Flew South before stepping away to take her craft around the city.
New York Times, Forbes, Atlanta Magazine, Garden & Gun are just a few of the staple publications Tiffanie has been featured in while focused on her craft. Heavy presenter at Atlanta Food & Wine, BevCon, Tales of the Cocktail and many competitions its easy to see Tiffanies passion to cocktail teaching nationwide.
Known around circles as “The Drinking Coach,” Barriere now calls herself a “freelance” bartender, opting to create cocktail menus for pop-up dinners and host mixology lessons all around the nation. James Beard two-time attendant, Bar Smart graduate, and Top 50 Tastemakers of the South award winner, Barriere’s main goal is education and service with every pour.
The Savannah Food & Wine Festival is presented by the Tourism Leadership Council, a 501-(c) 6 organization, and The AdFish Group, with proceeds benefiting the TLC Scholarship Fund, with educational opportunities for hospitality program students in colleges and universities in the Coastal Empire and many local charitable organizations.
