Taste of Savannah Now Accepting
Restaurant Exhibiter Applications
The most anticipated event of the Savannah Food and Wine Festival is the Taste of Savannah event. Attendees are invited to experience the hospitality and culinary talents that embody the heart of Savannah while enjoying the history. The event, held at the Georgia State Railroad Museum, gives the opportunity for restaurants to shine as they can serve mouth-watering samples of their specialties.

There will be a “Best Tastes” competition, providing participating restaurants the opportunity to be named a winner of several categories. The winners from the 2018 Taste of Savannah competition are:

- Originality and Creativity in Culinary Presentation and Appearance – EmployAbility Catering
- Taste, Balance, and Flavor Profiles – Grand Champion BBQ
- Best Overall – Pie Society
“As a local non-profit organization that trains adults with developmental disabilities for culinary careers, it is always a highlight of our year to compete at the Taste of Savannah competition. Winning awards at the last two events have provided us with an amazing platform to demonstrate to a wide and diverse audience that our program participants are capable of competing with the best Savannah has to offer,” said Brendan Ferrara Director of Training and Supported Employment EmployAbility Catering

Taste of Savannah restaurant retail and exhibit applications must be submitted to the festival on or before September 27, 2019. Restaurants wanting to participate in the event can sign up at www.SavannahFoodandWineFest.com along with other information as well. In addition to the application, a Health Department form must be completed as well for all restaurants.
