Cyreia Sandlin is an award-winning news anchor for WTOC’s ‘The News at Daybreak,’ Savannah’s number one morning newscast. She also co-hosts Savannah’s newest morning lifestyle show, Morning Break on WTOC.
Cyreia came to Savannah as an anchor and reporter in September of 2011. Cyreia graduated from the
University of Missouri School of Journalism with a Bachelor’s Degree in Radio-TV Journalism in 2011. While attending the University of Missouri, she worked for Newsy Videos and KOMU-8 TV. She also worked in Brussels, Belgium at Thomson Reuters while studying journalism and art history. After graduation, Cyreia was named an International Radio & Television Society Summer Fellow. She moved to New York City and worked at NBC Nightly News before accepting her job at WTOC.
Off the anchor desk, Cyreia enjoys dedicating her time to numerous charitable causes in Savannah. She
is the proud president of the Telfair Museums’ William Jay Society. In 2017, she raised thousands of dollars as a Susan G. Komen Big Wig. She has served on boards for the Frank Callen Boys and Girls Club and Junior League of Savannah. She has hosted events for several local non-profits including the Savannah Food & Wine Festival, Savannah Ballet Theatre, Savannah Philharmonic and Savannah Book Festival.
Cyreia lives in the heart of Savannah’s landmark historic district and spends much of her free time enjoying Savannah’s thriving culinary scene!
