Jamie has been working for Savannah Riverboat Cruises for just over a year now, wowing our guests with his flair for all things southern! He was just a young , 11 year old boy when his passion for cooking was kindled as he worked for his father at their family restaurant. That passion eventually took him to Atlanta, Georgia where he was classically trained in French cuisine at The Lark and The Dove restaurant. Even though Jamie was formally trained in French cuisine, he decided to return to his roots as a southern chef and has spent time as Executive Chef at Johnny Harris restaurant among a couple of other establishments.
Jamie has many accolades under his belt locally, such as being featured in the premier edition of South Magazine, hosted a cooking show called 30 Minute Chef on a local news channel, and he routinely competes and represents Savannah Riverboat Cruises at industry hospitality events.
