Jason Restivo is a certified sommelier with over 21 years experience in the food, beverage, and hospitality industries. Jason's journey started with Piero Antinori's Pebble Beach, California restaurant Peppoli. He then shifted his focus to Wine Spectator's Grand Award winning restaurant Casanova in Carmel, California. A cross-country move brought him to the Montage Resort at Palmetto Bluff. Jason spent the last six years as a beverage program developer and manager at two iconic multimillion-dollar restaurants in Savannah, Georgia.

As a certified Sommelier of the Court of the Master Sommeliers, Jason brings his passion and discipline for customer service to the wine culture.

Jason has participated in Oregon Pinot Camp, Ole Importer Grand Tasting and the West of West Wine Festival.  Honored by importer invitations, Jason has toured France, Germany and South Africa to experience the wines of those regions and share them with his client base.

Jason was voted Best Sommelier from 2012-2014 by the Savannah community and has been featured in the national beverage magazine, The Tasting Panel, was a contributor for Savannah’s Wellfed publication and was a nominee for Savannah Now Leadership award.

Jason naturally progressed into restaurant ownership with the purchase of an historic building in Savannah's Starland District. With Atlantic opening in 2016, Jason now is able to share his passion, experience and discipline to create the perfect pairing of people, food and wine.

The Savannah Food & Wine Festival is presented by the Tourism Leadership Council, a 501-(c) 6 organization, and The AdFish Group, with proceeds benefiting the TLC Scholarship Fund, with educational opportunities for hospitality program students in colleges and universities in the Coastal Empire and many local charitable organizations.
