Jonathan is originally from Greensboro, NC in the heart of North Carolina BBQ Country. He always had an affinity for food, which led him to a passion to discover the best ways to cook BBQ. After experiencing how different regions cook BBQ, from the cooking methods to the sauce, he started Skeeter's Southern BBQ.


Jonathan has created a perfect fusion of several regions to create the flavor profile that represents Skeeter’s Southern BBQ.  Skeeter’s Southern BBQ  is based in Savannah, GA and has a growing line of sauces and rubs.

The Savannah Food & Wine Festival is presented by the Tourism Leadership Council, a 501-(c) 6 organization, and The AdFish Group, with proceeds benefiting the TLC Scholarship Fund, with educational opportunities for hospitality program students in colleges and universities in the Coastal Empire and many local charitable organizations.

  • No dogs or pets are allowed at any event venues
  • All advance discount tickets are released in limited quantities and can sell out at any time without notice
